What are your canvas prints made from?
Our canvas prints are produced on a premium poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte-satin finish. We use water-based HP Latex inks with built-in UV protection to keep colours vivid and true for years to come.

What sizes are available?

What frame options do you offer?

Choosing Your Frame

Should I choose framed or unframed?
Choose a framed canvas for a finished look and the convenience of a ready-to-hang piece. Choose unframed if you'd rather style the canvas yourself or select a frame that suits your space.

Which frame colour should I choose?
Match a frame colour to your furniture, trim, or another detail in the room, or choose a contrasting colour to make the artwork stand out. Check the Frame options on the product page for the colours available to you.

Hanging and installation

What hanging hardware is included?

Your canvas wall art comes with pre-installed sawtooth hanging hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and help keep the artwork aligned. Choose wall fixings separately to suit your wall type and the weight of your canvas.

How should I hang a small canvas, up to 40 cm on its longest side?

Use a suitable picture hook or screw compatible with the fitted sawtooth hanger. Check that the fixing is rated for the canvas's actual weight and suitable for your wall. Mark the position and use a spirit level before hanging.

How should I hang a medium canvas, over 40 cm and under 100 cm on its longest side?

Check the fitted hanger positions before marking the wall. Use compatible fixings rated for the canvas's actual weight. For plasterboard, use appropriate load-rated plasterboard fixings rather than a nail driven into the board alone.

How should I hang a large canvas, 100 cm or more on its longest side?

Have another person help you lift and position it. Use the fitted hanging points with compatible, load-rated fixings suited to your wall. Secure into timber studs or sound masonry where possible; otherwise seek advice on suitable specialist fixings.

What should I check for heavier canvases?

Size alone does not determine the fixing required. Check the actual weight, wall construction and fixing manufacturer's instructions. Check for concealed cables and pipes before drilling. If you are unsure, use a professional installer.

Care & Placement

Cleaning your canvas print

For routine care, gently dust the canvas surface with a soft, dry cloth or a clean, dry paintbrush — working lightly from top to bottom. This is all that most prints will ever need.

For stubborn marks, a very slightly damp (not wet) microfibre cloth may be used on the canvas face, but only after confirming compatibility with Printumo, as the ink and coating specification can vary by print run. Contact us before attempting any wet cleaning so we can advise whether it is safe for your specific print.

Avoid the following in all cases:

Household cleaning sprays, solvents, or alcohol-based products
Abrasive cloths, scourers, or paper towels
Soaking or prolonged moisture on the canvas face or frame
Pressing hard on the canvas, which can dent or distort the surface

For framed canvases, wipe the frame with a dry or barely damp cloth and dry immediately. Never apply polish or wax to a painted or lacquered frame without checking compatibility first.

Best rooms for your canvas print

Our canvas prints are well suited to most living spaces. For the best long-term result, consider the following when choosing where to hang yours:

Ideal rooms: living rooms, bedrooms, home offices, hallways, and retail or studio spaces with stable temperature and good air circulation tend to give the best results. These environments help the canvas, ink, and frame stay in good condition over time.

Humidity-sensitive rooms — take care: kitchens and bathrooms experience frequent and significant swings in temperature and humidity. Steam, condensation, and moisture in the air can cause canvas to warp, the frame to swell, and colours to degrade more quickly. If you do hang a canvas in one of these rooms, position it well away from direct steam sources, ensure good ventilation, and check it periodically for any signs of moisture damage.

Other placement tips:

Keep prints out of direct sunlight where possible — our HP Latex inks include UV protection, but prolonged direct sun exposure will shorten the life of any printed artwork
Avoid hanging directly above radiators or heat sources, where hot air rises and can dry out the canvas and frame
Leave a small gap between the back of the frame and the wall to allow air to circulate behind the canvas

We ship worldwide via our print-on-demand partner network, so your print is produced and dispatched from the closest fulfilment location to you.

How long does delivery take?
From order to delivery, the whole process typically takes 2–5 business days for UK orders. International orders may take longer depending on your location.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Orders & Returns

Can I cancel or change my order?
As our prints are made to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes. We'll do our best to help before production begins.

What if my order arrives damaged?
We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we'll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.

Do you accept returns?
As each print is made to order, we don't accept returns for change of mind. However, if there's a quality issue or your order arrives damaged, we'll always make it right.
